Earth’s hour of darkness…
Phoned my friend Eric on saturday, “heh buddie what you up to?”.
“Sitting in the dark, trying to play poker by candle light…”
“Whats up? didn’t pay the bills? Times that tough, you are trying to save power?”
“No, Dick…(he calls me that when he is angry) its ‘Earth hour!’, its when you turn off your lights and power for one hour, to show that you care about our planet, that you are concerned about global warming and all that. You should care about your planet and be conserving power, we all have to reduce our consumption.”
“Oh… so no online poker for an hour?”
“No”
You cant even play your favorite fruit machine?
At which point the phone call was ended… heh what are friends for? Of course I knew about Earth’s hour of darkness… yes I am concerned about what we are doing to our planet… just had to get Eric wound up thats all…

Yeh clever Dick, its time you learnt more about saving energy, spent less time glued to your monitor and did your bit for the planet. And, I thought I asked you not to mention my name on your blog… revenge will be sweet!
